Alder & Moss started in a Portland garage in 2019 with one scent and a single forty-candle batch. We still pour in batches of forty. Every candle is 100% soy, hand-wicked, and named for a place in the Pacific Northwest we'd rather be standing in. We don't do seasonal drops, sales, or influencer boxes. Do I need to install anything in Shopify?
No. ShopConnect reads what your storefront already shows the public: product pages, collections, the reviews rendered by your review app, and the pages that define your brand identity. There's no Shopify app to install and we never ask for admin access.
Can I connect a store I don't own?
Yes. ShopConnect only reads what a storefront already shows the public, so you can connect your own store, a client's, or a competitor's. Agencies keep every client side by side; brand teams add the stores they benchmark against. The only limits are the obvious ones: don't republish someone else's content as yours, and don't resell the data as a product.
How fresh is the data?
Free resyncs monthly, Solo weekly, Pro and Agency daily. You can also trigger a refresh from the dashboard whenever you like. Extraction only re-processes what changed, so a resync is fast and doesn't disturb your AI connection.
Who can see my data?
Only clients you connect with your brand's private address and token. Each brand is isolated, every MCP request is authenticated, and you can rotate the token from the dashboard. We don't train models on your data and we don't sell it.
What happens if I cancel?
Your access continues to the end of the period you've paid for, then the account moves to the Free plan. Products, brand identity, and the MCP server keep working; reviews stop syncing. Details are in the refund and cancellation policy.
